Mrs Carol Ann Riseley

As many of you will now know, our beautiful Carol passed away peacefully on 30th October, leaving behind a huge hole in the hearts of everyone who loved her. We would like to invite all those who knew and loved Carol to join us as we say our final goodbye and celebrate her life.

Carol’s funeral service will take place on Wednesday 11th November at 11am at St Mary’s Church, Duke Street, Barrow in Furness, followed by a private family committal at Thorncliffe Crematorium. Afterwards, we would love for you to join us for a celebration of Carol’s life at Furness Rugby Club, Croslands Park Road, where we can come together, share memories and remember a truly special woman.

Family flowers only, please. For those who wish to make a donation in Carol’s memory, donations to St Mary’s Hospice would be gratefully received. These can be made at the church or via the Little & Caine website. 

Finally, from the bottom of our hearts, we would like to thank everyone for the beautiful messages, flowers, cards, phone calls and kindness shown to our family during this incredibly difficult time.

It has been truly comforting to hear and read just how much Carol was loved by so many people. Every message, memory and kind gesture has meant more than we could ever put into words.

Thank you for helping us celebrate the life of a truly wonderful woman. She will be loved and missed forever. ❤️
