A service to celebrate Joan’s life will be held at Thorncliffe Crematorium, Barrow on Friday 12th September at 11:30am. Wearing black is optional. Passed away peacefully in the care of St Mary’s Hospice on Sunday 17th August, aged 77 with his loving wife Mary by his side, after a long and courageous battle with Mesothelioma. Much loved husband of Mary, devoted dad, grandad and great-grandad. His strength, love and warmth touched everyone around him. Forever missed with all our hearts. A celebration of John’s life will be held at the Trevelyan Chapel on Friday 19th September at 2.30pm.
