Adored husband of Kathleen, his wife of sixty-four years. Loving and loved father of Chris and Allison. Loved and highly respected father-in-law of Gaynor and Andrew. Proud and doting grandfather of Shannon and Jacob. Life member of Dalton book club. For many years staunch supporter of Dalton Local History Society and a well-respected friend and neighbour to many. A service will take place on Wednesday 27th May at 12.30pm at St Mary and St Michael’s Church, Great Urswick.
