Harry James Miller. Grad. IEE (Chartered Engineer) MIEE. Former senior design engineer VSEL and BAE. Harry aged 93 years passed away on Sunday May 3rd 2026 in the loving care of St Mary’s Hospice. Adored husband of Kathleen, his wife of sixty-four years. Loving and loved father of Chris and Allison. Loved and highly respected father-in-law of Gaynor and Andrew. Proud and doting grandfather of Shannon and Jacob. Life member of Dalton book club. For many years staunch supporter of Dalton Local History Society and a well-respected friend and neighbour to many. A service will take place on Wednesday 27th May at 12.30pm at St Mary and St Michael’s Church, Great Urswick.
