Aged 88 YearsBOYD Dennis Patrick passed away peacefully in the care of Swarthdale Nursing Home on Tuesday 25th August aged 88 with his loving family beside him. Loving husband of the late Sheila, father of the late Michael, father-in-law of Ann, grandad of Sean and Emily, brother of Jean and the late Kevan, brother-in-law, his sister-in-law, uncle and good friend to many especially to everyone at Barrow Celtic FC jnrs, with whom he was long associated with as a coach. A service to celebrate Dennis’s Life will be held at St Mary’s RC Church, Barrow on Monday 14th September at 1pm, wear a touch of green if possible. CORNTHWAITE, John ‘Blue’ aged 85. Died on Sunday 30th August with family by his side, at St Mary’s Hospice, Ulverston under the care of the dedicated and committed staff. He battled hard against illness compounded by unfortunate events. Loving husband of the late Kay, father to Debbie, Sheralee, and Joanne.
