Aged 90 YearsAISBITT, Father Osmond Passed away peacefully in Furness General Hospital on the 29th December 2025 aged 90 years. Beloved husband of Margaret. Much loved father of John and Michael, Father-in-law to Jennifer and grandfather to Emily, Annabel and Charlotte. Father Osmond will be received into St Mary of Furness Roman Catholic Church, Victoria Road, Ulverston, Cumbria, LA12 0BY on Thursday 29th January at 6pm. A Requiem Mass will take place on Friday 30th January at 11:30am prior to a private cremation. Family flowers only. Of your charity pray for the repose of the soul of Mary, who died fortified with the Rites of Holy Church at Furness General Hospital on 3rd March. The beloved wife of Joseph, very dear mother of Sandra and Colin, and a much loved mum-in-law, nanna, gran-nan, sister and auntie.

Requiem Mass will be said in St. Mary’s R.C. Church, Duke Street, Barrow-in-Furness on Friday 27th March 2026 at 11.00am followed by cremation at Thorncliffe Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Aged 88 Years
NEWSHAM, Neville Turner passed away peacefully in Furness General Hospital on Friday 6th March aged 88. Dearly loved husband of the late Joyce, treasured dad of Julie and Dave, David and Sarah and also the late Gillian. A proud grandad of Brett and Lauren, Isobel, Elizabeth and Great grandad of Eve. A dear brother of Valerie and the late Norman. A service will take place on Thursday 19th March, 11am at The Ellers Chapel, Ulverston. Family flowers only.
